A Snapshot of Your Day

Build and manage all aspects of the integration processes supporting Siemens Energy’s HR Data Hub. With deep expertise in AWS and high-level skills in Python, you will ensure secure, reliable, and efficient integration between various data sources and the HR Data Hub. Your role will involve collecting and analyzing requirements, creating field mappings, and implementing custom logic and data transformations to facilitate seamless data flow.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Follow End to End integration process, establish new integration, capture requirements, comprehend requirement and develop fields mapping, comprehend custom logic, data transformation, file delivery method(s), encryption if any, compliance check, HR Data Hub capabilities, approve requirement, timeline, cost (if any), Snaplogic use (if needed), testing and approval on testing, launch and approval on becoming available, hyper care period support.
  • Monitor integrations via supervising tools i.e Slack notifications, email notifications, upon issues, fixing bugs on urgent basis, advising relevant collaborators. Monitoring integrations based on their schedules.
  • Resolving incidents in integrations: In EnergyNOW we have incident monitoring, so fix issues based on incident raised by user / integration owner.
  • Integration Management Request (IMR) tool. – understanding this tool to create / modify integrations, both types of integrations (inbound & outbound), data products, approval process, compliance check, file delivery method (sFTP,OpenFT, Snowflake, Snaplogic etc.), encryptions (SSH, PGP and their maintenance), publishing to production.
  • Provide status updates on existing integrations monitoring and ongoing integrations.
  • Managing vulnerabilities (tickets) and exceptions related to vulnerabilities.

What You Bring

  • AWS - understanding (Step function / Lambda function, EventBridge, Cloud Watch, S3, CodeCommit and pipelines, and Cron jobs) – Medium level AWS system administrator. Snowflake – SQL Queries - understanding business requirement and transform to SQL Queries, tables, schemas, views, permissions.
  • Python – advanced level – to write custom code for integrations, understanding of Polar functions, functions related to data transformations, debugging.
  • Microsoft Visual Studio Code – IDE for writing custom integrations - Writing python code, run / debugging, use GitHub with this, HR Data Hub framework (libraries created by FNTIO).
  • Git – to control code development (local, staging and production environment), code commit, pipelines (code clone).
  • Application Support: Managing support tickets lifecycle.
