About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team of Contract Managers and help shape the future of energy with Siemens Gamesa’s Offshore Service business. You’ll dive into complex contractual matters, analyzing agreements, identifying risks, and negotiating terms to support large-scale projects. Your day will be filled with advising project and site management, ensuring that every contract detail aligns with our mission to innovate and transform the energy landscape.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide expert advice and support on customer and sub-contracts, safeguarding Siemens Gamesa’s rights and entitlements.
- Navigate contractual and commercial matters, including change order processes and drafting relevant correspondence.
- Identify technical, commercial, and contractual elements to develop project-specific claim strategies.
- Contribute to claims management by advising on project records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the legal team to substantiate facts for arbitration proceedings and perform analyses to establish causation for project impacts.
What You Bring
- A degree in a technical field, business administration, law, or quantity surveying, with relevant qualifications.
- Extensive experience in contract and claim management, particularly in large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with international EPC and construction contract terms (e.g., FIDIC, Orgalime) within the Offshore Wind industry.
- Experience working with international teams and partners, with the ability to travel nationally/internationally (15%).
- Proficiency in English, including negotiating and drafting legal documents, with knowledge in valuation and project controls; German knowledge is beneficial
