A Snapshot of Your Day
Reporting to the Head of Field Service & I&C, this role has significant responsibility in supporting the global Field Service function and Small-Scale Technical Services (SSTS) Team’s growth strategy, focused on increasing business revenue and cost recovery. Including, but not limited to, quoting, order processing, visa, and work permit processing, WIP order management, invoicing, and project management SSTS opportunities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Act as the custodian for AGT FS and Engineering SSTS business development opportunities to support growth of Field Service & SSTS revenues.
• Analyse potential business development opportunities derived from the global FS community, working closely with the appropriate commercial functions to drive through to proposal stage.
• Provide regular reports to management on potential SSTS growth opportunities.
• Enhance and promote SSTS offerings to support revenue growth and cost recovery.
• Work closely with AGT engineering functions to identify and drive continuous improvement solution implementation, governance, project reviews and communications.
• Drive current BI initiatives pertaining to Technical Responsiveness, Field Service Reports responsiveness improvement programme to ensure business KPI’s are achieved.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with key internal stakeholders in AGT Engineering, Field Service and Marketing & Sales.
• Quoting, WIP service order management and invoicing to ensure accurate departmental cost recovery.
• Provide support with logistical arrangements including, but not limited to visas and work permits to satisfy company compliance (security / travel etc.) requirements for overseas deployment.
• Provide regular reports to management on SSTS financial status and cost recovery.
• Collaborate with other internal business departments such as, Environmental, H&S, Security, Compliance, Tax and Quality to ensure that FSR’s are fully supported and remain safe in line with Siemens Zero Harm policy.

About the Team
The PCC Field Service team comprises a management structure, Operations Specialist, Manpower Planner and Field Service Coordinator who collectively support our team of 32 specialist Field Service Engineers, supported by the SSTS team comprising the partial support of several engineering resources from within the AGT product line.
