A Snapshot of Your Day

As an SAP Business Controller, you will be a key contributor to the financial steering of our Transformers Field Service Hub in Romania, coordinate the global Controlling for Transformer Factory Network and organize the S4E SAP implementation in different locations. In this role, you will drive transparency, reliability, and efficiency in all controlling processes and play an active part in shaping our business performance across Europe. This position is ideal for a self‑motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead and coordinate budgeting, forecasting, periodic financial planning cycles; analyze deviations vs. plan/forecast and provide actionable recommendations for management.
• Prepare clear and insightful financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support decision‑making; support productivity initiatives and profitability improvements through data‑driven financial insights.
• Manage and steer the S4E Unify SAP rollout across multiple locations.
• Validate global SAP template processes against local business requirements and identify necessary adaptations.
• Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including designing test cases and ensuring proper documentation; participate actively in key user communities by sharing knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Align closely with Global Process Owners and other key users across regions; act as an ambassador for the transformation program, fostering user engagement and supporting change management.
• Act as a trusted advisor to operational teams, global process owners and Management.
• Provide commercial expertise on cost structures, pricing, business cases, investment decisions, and profitability; Support stakeholders in understanding financial impacts of operational decisions.

What You Bring

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Several years of relevant experience in controlling or finance.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Advanced analytical capabilities and proficiency in Excel, SAP, and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and communicate clearly across all levels.
• Proactive, flexible mindset with a strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English language skills, German is an advantage.
