A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Resident Engineer at Siemens Energy, your day will be dynamic and focused on serving as the primary liaison between customers and project stakeholders on-site. You will oversee both planned and unplanned service events for gas turbines, generators, or steam turbines, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among field service teams and subcontractors. Your role will be crucial in managing logistics, supervising compliance with standards, and supporting the overall success of project management initiatives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Act as the primary point of contact between the customer and project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
- Coordinate planned service events and respond to unplanned service events on-site.
- Manage logistics for field service personnel, including arrivals, departures, and lodging.
- Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with Siemens Energy standards and requirements.
- Handle project-related consumables, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure all activities align with Siemens Energy’s EHS and Quality standards.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field, with a preference for power generation experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong teamwork abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Fluent in English with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
