About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
The Regional Sales Manager for the Latin America Market (RSM) is responsible for the business development of Siemens Energy distribution transformers for all customers within a defined geographic area. The RSM will engage with customers, sales agents and our several factories to offer technical and commercial solutions in the electrical industry. The RSM is also responsible to manage and lead day-to-day operations of the sales channels in their area of responsibility with the goal to increase order intake, market transparency and profitability.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Responsible for the sales in Mexico, Central America and South America
- Travel to meet already existing and new customers, as well as meeting with the factories, distributors, and agents
- Develop new sales opportunities, engage with the factories, and get a contract
- Follow up with the meetings
- Build relationships, and use negotiation skills to make offers
- Growth mindset
What You Bring
- Electrical or mechanical engineer with a minimum of 3 years of technical and/or commercial experience in electrical distribution market (experience in transformers is an asset)
- Supervisory experience is a plus
- Travel requirement 40% to 50% of time, national and international
- English advanced level
- Strong written and oral communication skills in order to successfully interact with external customers and staff within the organization
- Proficiency using personal computers and software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows. Excellent organizational skills
