A Snapshot of Your Day
The North America Siemens Energy Real Estate Project Manager will lead all aspects of construction projects across NAM, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy standards and delivery that is safe, on time, and within budget! This role requires a construction background, project management experience, and strong collaboration skills. You will lead all aspects of project goal setting, scope development, planning, procurement, contracting, safety, construction execution, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and close-out—working closely with internal teams and external vendors!
This is a full-time position that requires the flexibility of travel when needed (up to 60%). Position will be located within Orlando, FL or Charlotte, NC.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Direct, lead, coordinate, and support construction project operations across NAM from inception to close-out. Project types include office fit-outs, major building maintenance, ground-up office and industrial builds, and office/factory expansions.
- Ensure Siemens Energy’s Zero Harm Culture is embedded throughout all phases of each project.
- Collaborate with Project Sponsors and business partners to define project goals, scope, timelines, achievements, budgets, and ensure alignment across all partners. Track and manage performance against these benchmarks to achieve successful outcomes.
- Oversee construction execution with minimal disruption to operations, negotiating with operators to implement cost-effective solutions.
- Deliver regular presentations to executive leadership and project teams on project status, schedule, budget performance, and Zero Harm Culture adherence.
- Ensure consistent and accurate documentation of daily logs, progress updates, and financial reports throughout the project lifecycle.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience managing construction projects, architects, engineers, or construction managers.
- Candidates with current or prior experience with Siemens Energy processes, customers, and systems are preferred. Depending on experience level, candidates may be considered for a higher or lower level role.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, standard processes, and the ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
- Proven track record to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment—balancing deadlines, solving sophisticated challenges, and collaborating with diverse partners, including senior leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project); PMP certification or related coursework preferred. Must be flexible and available to work extended hours or weekends as needed based on site operations.
