Join our dynamic team as a Remote Diagnostic Services (RDS) Systems Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our remote monitoring capabilities for turbo machinery and industrial plants. You will develop innovative solutions to acquire, analyse, and transmit operational data, ensuring our customers receive top-notch support. Your expertise will be vital in conducting problem investigations, managing projects, and collaborating with diverse teams to deliver exceptional service. How You’ll Make an Impact
  • You will develop and enhance remote surveillance capabilities for operational equipment, ensuring timely data acquisition and analysis for project and technical support teams.
  • You will create and implement monitoring solutions, including retrofitting existing projects to capture essential operational data.
  • You will define project scopes, manage external resources, and document installation and testing procedures to facilitate effective communication with field service teams.
  • You will lead investigations into recurring issues with surveillance equipment, utilizing Root Cause Analysis techniques to propose actionable solutions.
  • You will support modification and upgrade projects, capturing requirements and executing solutions, which may involve occasional travel to customer sites.

What You Bring
  • You hold a degree in an engineering discipline related to Controls, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Software.
  • You have experience with industrial plant control systems and IT networks, with familiarity in tools like Allen Bradley RS Logix5000, Siemens S7, and Microsoft SQL being advantageous.
  • You possess strong troubleshooting skills and can effectively communicate findings, appreciating the cultural nuances of a global customer base.
  • You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, showing initiative and flexibility as a self-starter who thrives in team environments.
  • You have a customer-focused mindset and a proven track record of delivering technical solutions in customer-facing roles.
