The Quality Department is responsible for inspecting blades throughout production using various technologies and equipment, working with certification bodies to meet required standards, and liaising with internal and external customers to ensure adherence to Siemens’ quality standards. This internship will provide you with firsthand experience of the challenges faced by today’s Quality Department in the manufacturing sector and offer an in-depth understanding of quality and manufacturing operations at a modern high-tech facility.

How You’ll Make An Impact
As a Quality Intern, you will support the Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams in delivering high-quality solutions to issues that arise in the manufacturing environment daily. Your role will involve a range of varied challenges and opportunities, including:-

  • Assisting with quality inspections, audit preparations, achieving certification in 'Differential Scanning Calorimetry' (DSC), quality improvements, data collection, data analysis, and other quality-related tasks as needed.
  • Inspecting non-conforming raw materials and test resin in different stages of blade production within the laboratory.
  • Collaborating with various departments to address quality issues, contribute to the development and implementation of innovative quality or process solutions, and occasionally work different shifts.

  • Studying towards a degree in a relevant subject.
  • A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
  • Good problem-solving and reasoning skills with the capability of learning and retaining new skills.
  • A practical and hands-on aptitude.
  • Be flexible when it comes to working hours.
  • Be proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to set priorities and manage to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to use initiative.
