A Snapshot of your day

As a Quality Inspector, you will be a crucial part of our commitment to excellence by providing comprehensive inspection services for our products. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct both in-process and final inspections, ensuring all parts and assemblies conform strictly to engineering drawings, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures before they are shipped. You will be the frontline defense for quality, preventing non-conforming products from reaching the customer. Your daily activities will involve the use of various measurement tools and gauges to verify critical-to-quality (CTQ) dimensions and parameters. An additional part of your role will be the detailed documentation of all findings. This includes validating quality records for accuracy within our internal systems, This position requires a candidate with a strong quality-oriented mindset and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You must be able to read and interpret blueprints and skilled in using a range of gauging instruments. Digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and use systems like SAP, is essential for success in this role. Your diligence and commitment will directly impact product integrity and customer satisfaction.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • 50% Quality Inspection & Measurement
    • Perform in-process and final inspections on products to ensure conformance with drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
    • Execute critical to quality (CTQ) dimensional measurements using standard and specialized gauging tools such as micrometers, calipers, and verniers.
    • Proactively prevent parts from shipping when quality concerns are identified.
    • Evaluate incoming product quality against established specifications and drawings, making pass fail determinations.
  • 30% Documentation & Reporting
    • Upload inspection reports and quality records to SAP as required for traceability.
    • Validate quality paperwork for accuracy using in house systems.
    • Document inspection findings and nonconformances using in house and other communication formats.
    • Update product inventory lists and certifications of product.
  • 20% Process Adherence & Improvement
    • Conduct periodic shop floor audits to verify that manufacturing processes are being followed correctly.
    • Communicate out-of-specification conditions and initiate quality holds as warranted.
    • Participate in continuous improvement activities, workshops, and events to enhance quality processes.

What You Bring


  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance role is preferred.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency with measuring instruments (ID/OD micrometers, depth mics, calipers, go/no-go gauges)
    • Familiar with reading and interpretating blueprints
  • Software & Systems
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • SAP (Quality Management Module)
  • Professional Competencies
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
    • Effective written and verbal communication
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
