About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
This role is a replacement position within the Cilegon Service Center, essential for ensuring business continuity and upholding quality standards for the repair and service of industrial compression equipment. The position is designated as an Experienced Professional and is critical for maintaining operational integrity and customer satisfaction. To meet these objectives, the role focuses on three primary areas: hands-on quality control and inspection of components throughout the repair lifecycle, management and continuous improvement of the local Quality Management System (QMS), and providing technical support and documentation for all quality-related activities. This structure ensures a comprehensive approach to quality, from initial inspection to final process validation. Given the focus on technical validation and process adherence, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing or industrial repair environment. Key requirements include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency with precision measurement tools, and a thorough understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001.
How You’ll Make an Impact
50% Quality Control & Inspection
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections on incoming materials, in-process repairs, and final products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Utilize precision measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and support non-destructive testing (NDT) activities to validate component integrity.
- Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming products, initiating non-conformance reports (NCRs) and participating in material review board (MRB) dispositions.
- Witness and verify critical repair processes, such as welding and heat treatment, to ensure they meet established quality standards and procedures.
- Performing Digital Inspectioon Process which is used for Digital Inspection Jacket that can be cover the comprehensive measurement and inspection of rotating equipment
30% Quality Systems & Process Improvement
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the local Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits, address findings, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to enhance process compliance.
- Analyze quality data, including defect rates and repair rework, to identify trends, conduct root cause analysis, and drive process improvements.
- Manage the calibration program for all measuring and test equipment to ensure accuracy and traceability.
20% Technical Documentation & Support
- Create, review, and maintain quality documentation, including inspection plans, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Generate comprehensive inspection and service reports, ensuring accurate and timely data entry into the SAP system.
- Provide technical guidance and quality-related training to workshop personnel on standards, procedures, and the use of inspection equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to resolve technical queries and address supplier quality issues.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably within a heavy equipment manufacturing, service, or repair environment.
- Certifications : ISO 9001:2015 Internal or Lead Auditor, AK3 Umum, Preferred Six Sigma Certification
- Skills: Quality management (Product Inspection, ISO 9000 Series, Internal Auditing), troubleshooting, Documents Control, Quality improvement, Familiar with 3D laser scanner
