Join our dynamic team as a Project Procurement Manager and play a pivotal role in the Energy Transformation. You’ll support the development of the Transformation of Industries (TI) business, focusing on Electrification, Automation, and Digitalization (EAD). Dive into the world of procurement, mastering project-related challenges while adhering to procurement rules and regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including project teams, technical functions, and global commodity managers, to drive decarbonization through innovative products and solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Join our North West Europe regional team in Bucharest, acting as the procurement single point of contact for projects from bid phase to execution.
- Collaborate with Commodity Managers to synchronize procurement activities with project milestones, ensuring cost-efficient supply solutions.
- Develop local commodity strategies aligned with global experts and build key supplier relationships.
- Take on the role of Strategic Buyer, managing responsibilities from RFQ to final award and expediting.
- Support project teams in procurement risk and opportunity topics, ensuring adherence to standardized processes and aligning procurement targets with project execution.
What You Bring
- A passion for decarbonizing the industry and leading change, with a motivating and resilient team spirit.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact across all organizational levels.
- Project management skills, basic knowledge of KPIs, and a proactive mindset.
- Fluency in English, with basic Dutch and/or French skills.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration or engineering, plus 5+ years of procurement experience in a project environment.
- Curiosity and the ability to manage diverse partners, thriving in a multicultural and large organizational setting.

Our SE TI EAD MF&OP P organization is dedicated to managing third-party spend and developing procurement strategies that keep Siemens Energy competitive. Our professional procurement team uses modern tools to create global sourcing strategies that ensure optimal supply cost, quality, and ESG compliance. We support Siemens Energy’s vision to become the most valued energy technology company by providing best-in-class services in IT, HR, Finance, Real Estate, Strategy & Technology, and more.
