This position is to ensure business continuity and mitigate the risk of resource shortages for New Units projects and business controlling activities. This role is established within the Onshore Wind Power Procurement organization for North America and Latin America to provide critical capacity for strategic project execution. To address this need, the role is structured around three core areas: Strategic Project Sourcing, comprehensive Contract and Bid Management, and Financial Controlling and Process Leadership. This framework ensures the position will drive value through early sales-phase involvement, manage the procurement lifecycle for complex projects, and oversee financial performance and resource coordination. They will possess extensive experience in contract management, strategic sourcing, and financial analysis, with a proven ability to develop operational plans and lead within a complex, project-driven environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead early procurement involvement in the sales phase for New Units projects to define sourcing strategies and influence technical specifications for cost optimization. Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities and services across North and Latin American projects. Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify, qualify, and develop new suppliers, ensuring a robust and competitive supply chain.
  • Lead complex negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions with key suppliers to achieve strategic cost savings and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for assigned projects, from bid preparation and proposal analysis to contract administration and closeout. Coordinate the preparation of complex bid and contract documents with legal, finance, and technical teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Administer active project contracts, monitor supplier performance against service level agreements, and proactively manage contract changes, claims, and disputes.
  • Establish and manage the financial controlling framework for project procurement, including budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting on financial performance. Develop, implement, and standardize new procurement processes and operational plans to enhance efficiency and support functional business goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to coordinate and train project procurement resources, fostering best practices and professional development within the team. Analyze procurement data to identify trends, report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
