About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Manager to manage our LTP , M&U and service projects within the O&G and energy sector. This senior role is responsible for the end-to-end management of complex, high-value projects that are critical to our strategic objectives and long-term customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will drive project success by ensuring alignment with business goals, managing cross-functional teams, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. The core of this position involves meticulous planning, execution, and delivery of projects. You will be accountable for developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all milestones are achieved on time and within scope.
A key aspect of your role will be to monitor project performance through key metrics, implement corrective actions as needed, and ensure unwavering compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of managing large-scale projects from initiation to completion, preferably within the energy or a related industrial sector. You will demonstrate strong leadership by guiding cross-functional teams, mentoring junior members, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Exceptional communication, risk management, and problem-solving skills are essential for navigating complex project challenges and engaging effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal partners.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Long-Term Partnership (LTP) projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and customer requirements; develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope; monitor project performance using key metrics, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions to ensure objectives are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout all project phases; perform lessons learned activities and feed the results into current and future projects; take full responsibility for the financial results according to set targets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring clear and effective communication; lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to drive project success and mitigate risks; facilitate regular project meetings and provide transparent status updates to all stakeholders.
- Mentor and support junior project team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development and managing customer expectation and 1st level escalations
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks by developing and implementing robust mitigation strategies to address potential challenges, and contribute to strategic planning by providing insights from project execution and performance data.
- Manage project scope and change control processes by evaluating the impact of changes on budget, schedule, and resources, and ensure corrective measures are taken to manage non-conformance in line with BA KPI.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field with over 10 years of experience in project management, focusing on long-term projects in the energy sector or a related industry. Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Having Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and IPMA-C certification
- Proficiency in project management skills includes expertise in Project Management Methodologies (e.g., PMI), the ability to effectively manage and mitigate risks, competence in Project Planning & Execution, and strong capabilities in Budgeting and Financial Control.
- Leadership and communication involve adept Stakeholder Management, the ability to lead Cross-functional Teams, proficiency in Effective Communication, and the capability to provide Mentoring & Coaching.
- Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in Data-driven Decision Making, the ability to tackle Complex Problem Solving, and expertise in Performance Metrics Analysis.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
