Project Manager are responsible for masterminding, outlining and developing projects. Design the project goals and success markers, determine how success will be measured and tracked. Ensure the project remains on time and on budget and helps motivate team members to hit their goals. Project Manager acts as a liaison between the project team and upper-level management. Prepare and present progress reports and ensure the project is furthering organizational goals.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Delegate project tasks based on experience of project members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well across all Company Areas
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Direct report to the NA Projects Director in project-related and disciplinary matters
  • Functional report to the Corporate Project Director in project-related

What You Bring

  • We prefer a candidate with similar work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Establish the projects goals in terms of Execution plan; H&S plan; Quality Control plan and Budget plan
  • Create the Project Team; coordinate/lead regular team meetings and establish follow up action plans
  • Planning and coordinating all resources necessary to ensure the Project execution according to customer and Company expectations and contractual obligations
  • Ensure that Siemens Gamesa Processes, Tools, and Methodologies Utilized during the Projects execution
  • Responsible for identifying and managing all project Risks and Opportunities
  • Report on a regular basis the project status and evolution to the customer and to the upper-level management on: Project development schedule; production schedule; deliveries schedule; construction schedule; commissioning schedule; Quality deviations; H&S deviations and Projects Financial status
  • Assist and participate on the client’s project meetings
  • Identify all the deviations and establish a recover mitigation plan
  • Files secured and potential claims against third parties (e.g. customers, partners, contractors, insurers) in agreement with the different involved Company areas
  • Carries out the required clarifications with the different Technical Offices and the customer
  • Ensures compliance with the billing and collection plan, cash flow of the project
  • Support the technology transfer to our Siemens Gamesa partners (subcontractors, licensees, joint ventures, and suppliers).
  • Responsible for updating on a regular basis the Siemens Gamesa-specific software used for project management (SAPP)
  • Prepares and manage the Project handover dossier with customer, Project Substantial Completion Acceptance
  • Prepares and manage the internal Project handover to the Operations Team
  • Ensures the collection of Lessons Learned data for know-how feedback to the Internal Organization
  • Prepares the Financial closure of the Project
