A Snapshot of Your Day

The M&U PM role is always varied, and rarely quiet.

With the role covering both the material supply portion and Installation / Commissioning of Upgrades on turbine packages around the world, communication and co-ordination skills are always required and key to success.

Technical discussions with the engineering team, or clearly understanding requirements of the client so that they can be actioned by the Lincoln organisation are a key part in the early stages of a project.

Working with the planner to manage OTD (on time delivery) and commercial discussions with the BA (Business Admin) team to manage the trading position are a regular requirement.

The Supply chain team support the delivery of materials and again as many are modules built in house, co-ordination is required to ensure availability at the right time.

Once the work is ready to start on site, again briefing of the field service team and site management is required.

The use of SAP, One PM and general IT tools are a must.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will prioritize the Project, supply chain, field service and commercial teams to ensure the purchased scope is delivered on time, and to the quality levels required
  • You will ensure the scope is clear and any variations managed in a structured manner
  • You will drive OTD
  • You will work closely with a portfolio lead in Lincoln, and act as the key lead to resolve issues between ONGC/ Siemens and SE teams.

What You Bring

  • 14+ years of experience of international business, such as sales or project management.
  • Strong negotiations skills, you are confident in your communication at different levels and enjoy delivering under pressure.
  • Team spirit and strong cooperation skills with different people and cultures.
  • A can-do approach and knowledge how to act proactively.
  • A strong drive and dedication that will make a difference every day.
  • An understanding of sophisticated risk and opportunity management and how to build a win-win situation.
  • A relevant Technical/Engineering university degree.
  • Certified Project Manager (e.g. IPMA or PMP).
  • Experience from Oil & Gas industry, Power Generation and or other experience of rotating equipment.
  • Knowledge in SAP and Salesforce.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
