About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Management Professional, you are a committed, independent, and creative personality with knowledge of project management and demonstrated experience collaborating within project teams. As a member of the Gas Turbine Engineering Project Management Office team, you will support global project management in the planning, execution and controlling of R&D projects / programs. In addition to classic project management tools, you will also apply modern Agile methods such as SCRUM for team collaboration and execution of Gas Turbine development projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Developing the project schedule as a basis for executing Large Gas Turbine R&D projects
- You establish and coordinate overviews of budget, milestones, and resource plans to facilitate regular monitoring and evaluation of risks to timely project implementation
- Facilitate execution through coordination across multiple functions including engineering, business controlling, supply management, manufacturing development and other interfaces as required
- Furthermore, you support project/program portfolio planning, prioritization and resource allocation
- You facilitate regular program reviews, support resolution of resource, budget or schedule conflicts as needed
- You facilitate frequent project stand-up meetings / SCRUM meetings.
What You Bring
- Completed bachelor’s degree in a technical or business administration field with relevant professional experience working in project teams
- Confident in using Microsoft Office software, and experience with Microsoft Project / project scheduling is desired
- Advanced experience with MS Project software or other scheduling tools
- Good English knowledge and strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work in a team environment
- Flexibility to manage multiple R&D projects across multiple teams
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
