Siemens Energy Gas Services Central Large Generators Manufacturing Business Unit is seeking a Project Manager responsible for managing Customer Projects within Order Management and Order Execution in the Fort Payne, AL Manufacturing Plant.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Translating customer specifications into internal factory orders and ensuring projects are completed within targets for schedule, costs, and quality while meeting customer requirements.
- Tendering Internal and External customer Projects to include Costs, Labor Hour (NAH) routing creation and maintenance within SAP.
- Evaluate material demands per order, collaborating with MRP Controllers to release material requisitions for procurement to support Manufacturing and Production schedules.
- Manufacturing schedule creation, maintenance and communication.
- Weekly, monthly, yearly (CY/FY) Forecast contribution as well as status reporting.
- Maintain reoccurring communication channels, internally and externally, throughout the organization regarding scheduling, orders, and shipment statuses per Project from order entry to shipment.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project management or related field.
- Detailed understanding and experience within Order Execution, Finance, Planning, Forecasting, and Procurement.
- Strong moderation and presentation skills, as well as the ability to define and improve process standards.
- Strong data analysis skills and organizational skills.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office; MS Project.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
