Siemens Energy Gas Services Central Large Generators Manufacturing Business Unit is seeking a Project Manager responsible for managing Customer Projects within Order Management and Order Execution in the Fort Payne, AL Manufacturing Plant.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Translating customer specifications into internal factory orders and ensuring projects are completed within targets for schedule, costs, and quality while meeting customer requirements.
  • Tendering Internal and External customer Projects to include Costs, Labor Hour (NAH) routing creation and maintenance within SAP.
  • Evaluate material demands per order, collaborating with MRP Controllers to release material requisitions for procurement to support Manufacturing and Production schedules.
  • Manufacturing schedule creation, maintenance and communication.
  • Weekly, monthly, yearly (CY/FY) Forecast contribution as well as status reporting.
  • Maintain reoccurring communication channels, internally and externally, throughout the organization regarding scheduling, orders, and shipment statuses per Project from order entry to shipment.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project management or related field.
  • Detailed understanding and experience within Order Execution, Finance, Planning, Forecasting, and Procurement.
  • Strong moderation and presentation skills, as well as the ability to define and improve process standards.
  • Strong data analysis skills and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office; MS Project.
