About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
This position will function as the Service Operations American project management office developing, implementing and leading the tools, process & procedures for the project execution teams who execute a variety of projects in field service, parts and repairs on varying equipment and diverse scopes through the cradle to grave project life cycle to ensure customer service and company goals are met making this a dynamic and rewarding position on a daily basis.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Implement PMO strategies, processes, and policies to minimize risks and ensure timely project deliverables in alignment with PE@SE (equivalent to a PM certification that is within Siemens Energy).
- Facilitate seamless communication among stakeholders by collaborating with project managers and leveraging the OnePM system at an enterprise level.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies throughout project lifecycles.
- Develop best practices for project execution and management through analysis of current methodologies and continuous improvement principles.
- Provide regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, mitigation strategies, and NCC policy implementation.
- Manage resource allocation efficiently across projects, facilitate cross-functional team meetings, and oversee budget tracking for transparency in expenditure.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience; certification in Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Proven experience (5 years) as a PMO or similar role specifically within industrial services space; deep understanding of project management function required. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal skills capable of influencing key decisions among diverse groups effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills coupled with an analytical mindset adept at problem-solving under pressure without compromising on quality standards or safety protocols unique to service operations.
- Proficiency in using PM software tools like MS Project/Primavera alongside strong competence over standard office applications including Excel for financial/budgetary control purposes.
- Strong industrial rotating equipment knowledge including compressors, steam and gas turbines and control systems preferred.
