A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a Production Automation Manager to work out of our Richland, MS facility. As a key member of the Operational Excellence team, the Production Automation Manager is responsible for leading the implementation and optimization of robotics and automation solutions for engineering-to-order production lines. This role focuses on coordinating internal teams and external partners to drive automation initiatives, ensuring that production goals are achieved efficiently, safely, and with high quality. The Production Automation Manager oversees the integration of advanced robotics, manages project timelines and budgets, and resolves technical challenges to support business growth and innovation.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of robotics and automation solutions for engineering-to-order production.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful execution of automation projects.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to drive automation initiatives.
  • Ensure production output meets quality, safety, and customer specifications through robust automation systems.
  • Train and motivate team members on new technologies, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Drive process optimization and Lean-based improvements, troubleshooting automation issues and enhancing efficiency.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, robotics, automation, or a related field.
  • 8 or more years of experience in production automation, with a strong focus on robotics and automation for engineering-to-order environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading automation projects and coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proven expertise in Lean methodologies and digital transformation within a manufacturing context; Proficiency in relevant software and tools for automation planning, control, and data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of robotics, automation systems, and engineering/manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; Outstanding project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple automation projects under tight deadlines.

Willing and able to travel, as needed (potential, periodic site visits to China)
