A Snapshot of Your Day
As "Product Owner (f/m/d) Electrical Design - Tools Transformers", you play a central role to ensure the agile teams deliver global electrical design tools to engineering department in all transformer factories worldwide and contribution to the transformation journey to a new operating mode SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) within PRM organization. You act as a bridge between product management, system architect and development team. You are responsible for managing and prioritizing the product backlog, defining user stories, collaborating with development teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and engaging with customers and stakeholders. You make sure that we develop and build on the most uniform and standardized components in an agile way, so that we can provide new sustainable engineering software solutions in a timely manner while keeping operational costs to a minimum.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Analyze and implement business/user requirements and solutions in cooperation with the stakeholders and the development team
- Create, maintain, and prioritize the team backlog on story level and alignment with the product vision and goals
- Handover and maintain global electrical design tools for in-house operation at the transformer production sites as well as perform user support
- Actively collaborate with other teams/streams within the ART (Agile Release Train) in an international environment
- Support to improve the development methods and processes in a multi-cultural agile and highly skilled team
- As part of the future orientated digitalization and tool development team contribute to the Siemens Energy transformer business in terms of quality, efficiency, and sustainability
What You Bring
- Master's degree in electrical engineering and/or software engineering
- Many years of relevant experience in software development projects (C++, .NET or C#) and tools (i.e. GIT workflows, CI and deployment) within an agile environment
- Expert knowledge of transformer portfolio, which relates to electrical design processes and rules
- Experience in project management and technical leading a team
- Proficient communication skills in English (fluent) are required as well as the willingness to travel internationally
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and Scaled Agile Framework
