A Snapshot of Your Day

You will serve as the primary business-facing interface for the digitalization team, driving the vision for new solutions. You will focus on three core areas: defining the product strategy and managing the development backlog, translating business needs into technical requirements while acting as a bridge between finance and engineering, and overseeing the end-to-end delivery and adoption of new digital solutions. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Product Strategy & Backlog Management
    • Translate FP&A strategy into a prioritized product roadmap and backlog, focusing on business value and strategic objectives.
    • Define and articulate the product vision, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new automation and digitalization initiatives.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for new feature requests into the digitalization team, analyzing underlying problems to propose innovative solutions.
    • Prioritize the product backlog continuously to ensure the development team is working on features that deliver the most value to the business.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Business Process Translation
    • Act as the 'bridge' between finance business stakeholders and the engineering team to foster mutual understanding and alignment.
    • Engage with stakeholders across Function Controlling to gather requirements, ensure consensus on solutions, and manage expectations.
    • Analyze and map core Function Controlling processes, including forecasting, reporting, and cost allocation, to identify opportunities for digital transformation.
    • Lead stakeholder workshops and communication efforts to keep the organization aligned on product development, release schedules, and new functionalities.
  • Solution Delivery & Governance
    • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), quality gates, training, and support frameworks to ensure successful product deployment and adoption.
    • Champion the use of automation and AI solutions while maintaining a balanced view of their benefits and limitations for the finance function.
    • Ensure all product development and releases comply with corporate governance frameworks, including CYS, FIN, and IT audit requirements.

What You Bring

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Requires a proven track record in Agile product delivery, with experience translating business requirements into digital solutions.
  • Several years of professional experience in financial disciplines such as FP&A or controlling, combined with experience in a product management or business analysis role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Expertise and knowledge in: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Financial Controlling, Business Process Analysis, Cost Allocation and Internal Billing
  • Familiar with Agile Methodologies, Product Roadmap Management, Requirements Gathering, User Story Development, SAP Finance Landscape
  • Good in communication, having a problem solving mindset and strategic thinking
