A Snapshot of Your Day

Lead product strategy for a large fleet of operating generators, with full lifecycle responsibility for new apparatus generators, emphasizing high quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness.

Collaborate with global cross-functional teams in research and development to support both the customer base and the existing fleet.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead key generator development projects that improve the competitive position for the new apparatus generator portfolio.
  • Evaluate trends to assess product needs from concept through commercialization.
  • Collaborate with multiple organizations to understand market requirements, communicate R&D project pipeline, business impacts, and customer benefit appraisals.
  • Develop and implement strategic product roadmaps to assure lifecycle success of the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with various teams to analyze issues, find root causes, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Clarify business impact through consistent cost reduction and service lifecycle view to achieve the highest return on investment.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; an advanced degree or equivalent experience in Business or Engineering is preferred.
  • 6 + years of professional experience in generator design, manufacturing, field service or project management.
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • A sense of personal accountability when it comes to decision-making and leading global development teams.
  • A clear understanding of project and product management processes, strategies, and methods with experience managing complex projects.
  • 10% travel mostly domestic some international.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
