A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Product Engineer (f/m/d) you will be team member in the global product engineering team for integrally geared compressors and hence responsible for order specific design execution of turbo compressor in consideration of customer specifications. The position will be based in Duisburg, Germany, in the global challenging technical environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Prepare order-specific documentation using design tools like CES_GUI, TurboSel, and NX. Lead fixing activities, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Ensuring the quality and timely delivery of engineering documentation
- Identifying and addressing deviations or issues within projects
- Ensuring compliance with SE processes, particularly concerning quality aspects, while driving continuous improvement in execution processes
- Sales support for projects, including those outside the scope of design standards
- Project and order execution for mechanical design of integrally geared compressors, including technical and scheduling responsibility, ensuring compliance with required quality standards
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of engineering experience in the Turbo Compressor field
- Ability to lead multiple projects and deadlines
- Hands-on experience in working with NX, Teamcenter, Jira and SAP
- Knowledge of technical quality assurance
- Knowledge of technical quality assurance and relevant standards (e.g., API 617, ASTM, EN/DIN).
- Proactive, proficient in both English and German, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
