About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us at Siemens Energy, where you will play a pivotal role in coordinating technical sales support on a global scale. You will manage inquiries related to reciprocating compressor Modifications & Upgrades (M&U), ensuring that we meet our profit and growth targets. Imagine completing engineering evaluations and detailed calculations to determine the best M&U solutions tailored to client specifications. You will prepare and maintain accurate CPMU (cost price makeup sheet) & W2W quotations (wall to wall-internal document), collaborating with sales personnel to confirm pricing strategies that align with our EBIT (financial) targets. Your expertise will shine as you conduct sales coordination meetings and training sessions, while also acting as the focal point for all commercial issues related to assigned orders.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will manage inquiries related to reciprocating compressor Modifications & Upgrades (M&U) to secure orders that drive profit and growth.
- You will conduct engineering evaluations and calculations to identify optimal M&U solutions for both OEM and oOEM compressor units.
- You will prepare and review CPMU & W2W quotations, ensuring pricing strategies meet profit margins and EBIT targets.
- You will lead sales coordination meetings and training sessions, fostering collaboration with clients and company personnel.
- You will monitor project engineering phases to ensure compliance with client and Siemens Energy requirements, resolving any commercial contract changes.
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Compression Industry. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a broad knowledge of diversified products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to various audiences.
- Proficiency in advanced mathematical concepts and the ability to apply them to practical problems.
- A commitment to safety and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (minimum 20%).

This job may be based in New York. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. The base salary range for this position if based in New York is $76,800 – $109,700 and the annual incentive target is 10% of base salary.
Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
