A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for experienced multiskilled Operational Technician (Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronics) to become a part of our SIEAERO operations team.

As a hands-on member of our Team your day is centered around organizing, technically planning, and supporting the execution of our SIEAERO missions and project execution. This entails technically and logistically planning of the missions, via accompanying (remotely or at site) the mission execution itself. You are governing the pre- and post-mission equipment checks, including planned and reactive maintenance activities of our equipment, and data handover processes to our subject matter experts.

Ensure that all work is planned and carried out efficiently and safely and that all records are kept up to date. Taking care that all SHEQ and Siemens Energy processes and procedures are always complied with.

You are feeding back to our Operations development and process improvement groups what works well, what needs to improve and any ideas you have, that can help us getting better each day.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Prepare and follow up on missions, including equipment testing, packing, and vehicle readiness.
  • Support planned and reactive maintenance activities, including remote troubleshooting and short-term international deployments.
  • Coordinate operational vehicle fleet management, ensuring timely repairs, inspections, and compliance.
  • Train as a SIEAERO sensor system operator and collaborate closely with operators during missions and test flight campaigns.
  • Execute smaller missions and provide technical support during flight operations when needed.
  • Assist technical teams in constructing, improving, and maintaining equipment and infrastructure to ensure mission success.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, IT, Aviation, or a related technical field.
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience in a hands-on, technical role. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including fluency with Microsoft 365 tools and platforms.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • High level of self-motivation, problem-solving ability, and interpersonal skills for independent and team-based work.

Ability to travel as business requires. Willingness to travel internationally and participate in field maintenance and helicopter-based utility patrols.
