Core to this initiative is the Siemens Energy Omnivise Ecosystem (OES) – a central platform that synthesizes key data and supports delivery of scalable cybersecurity solutions to critical infrastructure operators experiencing shifts in asset mix, customer demand, and operating dynamics.
The OES Cybersecurity Solution Architect will lead efforts to create solution architectures that support the OES customer base. The role will also entail ongoing market research to identify key trends in cybersecurity, informing cybersecurity portfolio and solution strategy, developing future OES customer use cases, and supporting customer-specific proposal and capture efforts. This is an exciting and ambitious position that will have a strong influence on the future direction of the Siemens Energy cybersecurity solutions portfolio.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Design technical architectures that integrate OT, IoT, and cloud technologies, ensuring solutions are both customer-specific and scalable across markets; standardize solution packages to support efficient deployment against customer and industry use case requirements.
- Act as a technical enthusiast, engaging with key customers and sales personnel to uncover difficulties, define cyber problems, propose architectures, support solution adoption, and accelerate deal velocity.
- Translate technical solutions into compelling value propositions, repeatable offers, and scalable go-to-market materials that support regional sales efforts.
- Work seamlessly across regional teams, HQ, Engineering, Product Management, Domain Experts, and Sales to build consensus, scope prototypes, drive execution, and deliver customer success.
- Identify, prioritize, and shape new OT/IoT use cases based on customer needs, competitive insights, and technology trends. Support delivery excellence by enabling regional field teams through solution training, onboarding materials, technical playbooks, and early-stage project handoffs.
- Continuously evaluate the market landscape to stay informed on emerging technologies, industry standards, cybersecurity regulations, and competitive landscapes to ensure solutions remain innovative and differentiated.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Technology, Cybersecurity or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. 8+ years in OT, IoT, cloud connectivity, or adjacent domains with a track record of designing and delivering complex technical solution architectures.
- Experience building or supporting scalable solution portfolios, not just custom project work. Deep understanding of OT/IT convergence, industrial control systems (e.g., SCADA, DCS, PLCs), cybersecurity principles, and cloud architectures.
- Proven ability to operate in a matrixed environment, collaborating across globally distributed and diverse teams. Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills; able to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences!
- Strong commercial savvy with ability to connect technical designs to customer value, return on investment, and business outcomes. Experience supporting or leading technical sales pursuits, RFP responses, and customer workshops.
- Agile and growth mindset; comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments!
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as dictated by work requirements

This job may be based in District of Columbia. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. The base salary range for this position could start between $160-190k and the annual incentive target could be 10-15% of base salary.
Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
