A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Mechanical Technician, you will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the power plant by performing maintenance and repair activities on mechanical equipment. Working closely with maintenance specialists and operations personnel, you will execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and contribute to plant availability and performance. Your role is essential in maintaining high safety standards, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the facility.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on mechanical equipment in accordance with maintenance plans and established procedures.
• Assist maintenance specialists in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical equipment to maximize plant reliability and availability.
• Utilize computerized plant management systems to report faults, document completed work, and request materials and spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, environmental requirements, and permit-to-work processes while promoting a safe work environment.
• Support plant performance by executing maintenance activities efficiently, accurately, and with a strong focus on quality.
• Continuously enhance technical knowledge and skills through training programs, certifications, and hands-on learning opportunities.

What You Bring

• Technical College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience in a similar industrial environment.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in maintenance or service activities within power generation, industrial plants, or comparable heavy industries.
• Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical equipment, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze equipment issues and implement effective maintenance solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized maintenance or plant management systems.
• Professional working proficiency in English and the ability to collaborate effectively within diverse and multicultural teams.
