Imagine leading a team that ensures the seamless operation of a combined cycle power plant in Taiwan. As the Mechanical Section Head, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality plant maintenance services that directly impact plant availability and client satisfaction. From managing preventive maintenance schedules to supervising safe working environments, your expertise will drive operational excellence, maintain compliance with environmental regulations, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to contribute during the plant’s construction and commissioning phases, setting the stage for long-term success.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead and oversee all mechanical maintenance activities at the combined cycle power plant in Taiwan.
  • Manage the mechanical team and external contractors to ensure successful repairs, inspections, and system reliability.
  • Develop, review, and optimize preventive maintenance schedules, procedures, and checklists for mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local environmental laws and regulations in all plant equipment maintenance activities.
  • Supervise safe working practices, fostering a safety-conscious and high-quality work environment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues during unplanned events, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions.
  • Motivate and guide your team to promote staff development and maintain a highly capable maintenance team.
  • Support installation and commissioning activities during the plant’s construction phase.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering as the foundation of your technical expertise.
  • Proven experience in planning and performing maintenance for mechanical systems, with solid knowledge of welding procedures and authority inspections for pressure vessels, gas systems, and overhead cranes.
  • Extensive experience in power plant services, focusing on mechanical systems and operations.
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills, with a track record of building effective teams.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, coupled with solid organizational abilities.
  • A commitment to shared values like care, agility, respect, and accountability.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
