A Snapshot of Your Day
As a multifaceted and skilled Marketing Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving marketing initiatives across key verticals. Your primary responsibilities will involve leading all aspects of the planning, execution, and management of messaging, content, and marketing assets designed to generate awareness, demand, and curiosity about the Siemens Energy Grid Technologies portfolio!
We are seeking a strategic problem solver with a strong understanding of B2B customers. Use your expertise in managing end-to-end campaigns, crafting engaging messaging approaches, and collaborating with various team members in a complex organizational structure. Join us in making a significant impact in the energy sector! This position will be hybrid, based in one of our offices: Orlando, FL; Raleigh, NC; or Charlotte, NC.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies tailored to specific verticals, such as Data Centers, Hydrogen, and Oil and Gas
- Define and articulate differentiated messaging, value propositions, and customer pain points across the buyer journey
- Collaborate with partners to produce industry-specific content, including whitepapers, case studies, blog articles, videos, presentations, social media content, etc., while ensuring alignment with overall brand messaging and industry standards
- Develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns from the initial research and brainstorming phase through execution, including but not limited to website, events, social media, emails, ABM, etc.
- Apply important metrics and analytics tools to track the efficiency of marketing initiatives, prepare regular reports on marketing performance, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Manage and report vertical-related marketing budget and expenses and reconcile final invoices with vendors.
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing or a related field; University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- Consistent track record in vertical marketing, multi-channel campaigns, and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) execution.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing and sales principles, including value proposition, content strategy and development, product promotion, and go-to-market planning and programs.
- Excellent project planning skills with the ability to initiate work early in the project life cycle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools, principles, practices, and applications.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, along with creative problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in English and demonstrated intercultural competencies.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as needed and adapt to project priorities, effectively managing schedules and task prioritization.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
