Join our dynamic team at Digital Grid as a Market Applications Expert, where you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of power systems. Imagine engaging with customers to understand their needs, defining project scopes, and preparing compelling proposals that secure contracts across North America. You will present innovative solutions, structure costs, and negotiate effectively to drive business success. Collaborate closely with the GT Sales team to manage opportunities and enhance our offerings, all while contributing to a customer-centric approach that prioritizes continuous improvement and market insights.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will present tailored solutions to customers, develop requirements, structure costs, calculate pricing, and negotiate effectively to drive business success across North America.
- Collaborate closely with the GT Sales team to manage the opportunity pipeline, identifying and developing both short-term and long-term business opportunities.
- Serve as the primary lead for preparing and managing proposals, tender processes, and contract negotiations through approval and execution for the DG GET organization in the region.
- Conduct comprehensive win/loss analyses for unsuccessful bids to drive continuous improvement, capture lessons learned and strengthen overall competitiveness.
- Provide valuable market and customer insights to the DG GET organization to support portfolio enhancement and a customer-centric business approach.
- Support the continuous improvement of bid management processes based on market feedback and operational experience.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in engineering, power engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable technical education (equivalent energy industry experience may substitute educational requirements).
- 5+ years of experience and a proven success record in similar roles driving new digital products and digital transformation.
- Technical experience in the energy industry.
- Sales experience is preferred.
- You are thrilled by new technologies, understand IoT, digitalization, and automation, and keep an eye on the latest developments in this space.
- Strong drive and understanding of digital technology, along with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to communicate effectively with international team members and customers in English.
- Creativity, ability to work in a team, and an honest and open personality.

We develop and provide digital solutions to enhance performance of the grid monitoring, control and automation systems. We enable integration of renewables using next generation power electronic platforms and applications
