A Snapshot of Your Day

Perform duties related to proving technical support and general guidance to support shop floor and assist with coordination of releasing new products. This position captures/coordinates data collection and reporting. Strong communication, organizational, collaboration skills and attention to detail are the most important personal requirements that allows the Manufacturing Engineer to perform within the role.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide technical and general guidance to support Manufacturing Engineer on the shop floor; assist with coordination of releasing new products.
  • Provide regular training to operators and maintain training metrics.
  • Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain logs for tracking lab process times and results.
  • Data collection and mining for validation - booth logs for completeness, program management and release data tracking; assist with process capability study. Regularly check and update tools and inventory as per the latest requirements; drive process improvements in tooling/ inventory management.
  • Conducts regular audits of checklists and personnel to ensure processes are being followed and quality is met. Create/provide reports to upper management. Perform other duties as directed.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work experience of 0-1 year(s) in Process Engineering preferred.
  • Candidates must have very good grasp of Microsoft office programs and have basic knowledge of ERP systems. Candidates must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent, demonstrated experience with computers and Microsoft Office software.
  • Requires strong problem solving and analytical skills. Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Requires strict confidentiality in dealing with sensitive, private information, and possesses high professional ethics, dependability, good judgement, and ability to take decisive action.
  • Ability to participate in a team environment to achieve departmental and organizational goals and objectives. Ability to work with established deadlines and achieve goals/outcomes. Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours to meet business needs and travel to company events

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
