A Snapshot of Your Day

Plan and execute activities related to the plant growth project, coordinating with the business unit and its associates, such as Maintenance, Production, Quality, EHS, and Manufacturing Engineering. The purpose is to ensure the timely execution of activities under your responsibility while complying with safety standards, quality requirements, and applicable regulations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Analyze and execute efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Implement activities for expansion projects and seek improvements to existing processes to increase productivity.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, SERE, Quality, and EHS teams to resolve operational issues.
  • Place purchase requisitions in the ERP system.
  • Define specifications for new services, tools, and/or minor equipment.
  • Generate, maintain, and deliver machinery dossiers under your responsibility to the corresponding areas of Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Production.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations in the production area.
  • Train personnel in the operation of new equipment, manufacturing techniques, and processes.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of improvements to the construction process.
  • Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and propose corrective actions when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Quality, EHS, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Logistics) to ensure efficient workflow.

What You Bring

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position in the manufacturing sector.
  • English proficiency: B2
  • Ability to interpret and read electromechanical drawings.
  • Knowledge of high-risk activities: Electrical work, welding, cutting, working at heights, excavations, pressure vessels.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Knowledge of project management and software related to project control (e.g., Project).
  • Skills in data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with design and manufacturing software tools (CAD, ERP, etc.).
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with different levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of quality and industrial safety regulations.

About the team:

The selected person will work together with the production, maintenance, SERE, Quality and EHS team to solve operational problems, as well as with the manufacturing engineering department for the definition of new project requirements.
