About the Role
- Based on project transport contracts & general transport agreements and on project requirements in terms of timeline and budget, management and controlling of less complex and complex international projects as well as checking of compliance with specifications and services (contractual provisions, costs, prices, deadlines, etc.).
- Shipping coordination of all cargo types (heavy lift items, over dimensioned cargo, general cargo etc.) incl. budget responsibility, recognition & implementation of savings potentials and risk mitigation
- Consolidation and preparation of the goods by customers priority, to arrange shipping schedule optimal for fulfilling the account of customers and contract sites.
- Assembly of contractual customer requirements in consignment activities considering of laws and terms (control of export, duty, banks, insurances, dangerous goods,) to ensure a timely delivery according to Siemens Energy’s procedures.
- Checking, creating, and coordinating export/ import and duty documents to assure both the compliance of internal and lawful terms and the customer demands.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in business administration or similar, preferably in Logistics.
- Professional experience in Logistics; ideally experience in the design & conception, proposal & calculation & execution of international projects with individual customer and country-specific requirements.
- Experience working in international cross-functional teams, coordinating several internal & external interface partners and extensive logistical & contract law knowledge.
- Experience with risk, claim & opportunity management as well as corresponding process knowledge would be desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Teams Sharepoint, etc.), and basic knowledge in SAP.
