Do you want to apply your legal skills in an organization that is making a difference worldwide today? During this internship, you will gain practical legal experience while simultaneously developing your commercial insight. You will gain a better understanding of the business needs, how the organization operates, and how legal and commercial interests are interconnected
This internship offers you an excellent opportunity to further develop both your commercial and personal skills while collaborating with colleagues from around the globe

How you'll make a difference
The Europe General Counsel and the Legal & Compliance team in Europe support matters related to corporate law, financing, and commercial law
Conduct legal research on topics in various European countries where our lawyers are located. This includes research on new regulations, corporate governance standards, and best practices in different jurisdictions. You will also analyze significant legal and contractual risks associated with Siemens Energy’s activities in Europe
Collaborate with the Holding and Finance Companies, including drafting corporate documentation such as board resolutions and powers of attorney, investigating corporate matters, and providing support on legal issues in M&A transactions
Assist in drafting and issuing standard legal documentation
Proofread and review documentation
Support in preparing training materials and delivering training to business colleagues on legal and contractual principles
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed
What you bring
You are in the third and final year of your Bachelor’s degree in Law or have just started your Master’s degree in Law
You have an interest in corporate law, financing law, and commercial contracts
You are digitally savvy and familiar with Microsoft Office applications
You are proactive
You are analytical and have an eye for detail
You communicate easily with colleagues in a business and international environment, including engineers, finance, sales, and senior management
You are legally curious, innovative, and take initiative; you also enjoy collaborating with others
You have excellent command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Additional languages are a plus, especially French
About the team
The in-house Legal & Compliance team of Hub Europe consists of approximately 40 lawyers, contract managers, and compliance officers. Together, we strive for the highest quality legal advice and the highest ethical standards. We are looking for a full-time legal intern to strengthen our team, with the possibility of working as a student employee two days a week after the internship ends.
