A Snapshot of Your Day

A local Lead Service Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of wind turbines, ensuring the wind farm produces reliable power. They also contribute to the overall safety and efficiency of the wind farm by following safety protocols, maintaining records, and assisting with other tasks as needed.

  • Utilization of programs and processes to perform daily operations of a site
  • Coordinate, implement, and complete company and customer site performance metrics
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems independently with a high level of results orientation

What You Bring

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred, with an associate's degree in a related field being beneficial.
  • Experience: Previous experience in wind turbine maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Safety Knowledge: An understanding of safety protocols and LOTO procedures.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to climb wind turbine towers and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions. Must meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds or less as required by the safety regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors.
  • Valid driver's license

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
