A Snapshot of Your Day
As treasury manager, you will be contributing with diverse cross-functional tasks, such as Cash Management, FX Management and trade Finance solutions (among others) to support Siemens Energy with the execution of risk mitigation strategies, the onslaught of new treasury technologies, the implementation of regulations and compliance, and to apply strategic thinking for the best interest of Siemens Energy group!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Act as the main CFO’s point of contact for Treasury and Corporate Finance related topics.
- Manage bank relations, including negotiation of Financing contracts.
- Support the in-house bank activities, including company funding, payment factory, bank accounts, central bank reporting, FX risk management, electronic banking implementation, management of authorized signatures, and user management for Treasury IT tools.
- Being able to contribute with different views into areas such as cash Management, FX Risk and Trade finance (bank guarantee management)
- Contributing with new systems implementation, merge & acquisitions and development of new financial models.
What You Bring
- You have completed academic studies in business administration, economics or completed a commercial apprenticeship in banking or similar.
- Diverse experience: You have a minimum of three years of working experience in corporate finance or similar, preferably in a multinational with focus on any of these 2 areas: FX Management or Cash Management
- You are proficient in English; business proficient knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
- You are able to communicate optimally in a multicultural environment and collaborate with relevant customers among bank partners, CFOs, Accounting, Legal, Taxes among others.
- Change resilience: Knowledge of country/regional European markets, regulatory framework and other financial institutions are preferable.
- You are highly customer-focused, and team-oriented and have a generally good knowledge of Excel, commonly used IT software, any TMS and market treasury tools.

In this role, you would join a dynamic multicultural team based in Portugal that support the treasury function for our legal entities in Europe. This is a solid team of Treasury experts that continues to evolve and grow by embracing new challenges, sharing knowledge, feeling entrusted and encouraged to make a positive impact on Siemens Energy and our society.
