- Leadership of origination activities, including market analysis, prospect identification, and collaboration with industry experts, advisors, and partners
- Management of full deal execution workstreams, including due diligence, term sheet negotiation, and preparation of investment materials for the Investment Committee, with guidance and support for junior team members
- Oversight of portfolio companies through board or observer roles, including monitoring activities and support in key areas such as talent acquisition, financing, and ESG topics
- Development and management of internal stakeholder relationships across Siemens Energy business areas and coordination between departments
- Representation of the company at industry forums and technology-related events, fostering market presence and networking opportunities
- Contribution to thought leadership through publication of sector-focused insights, knowledge sharing, and enhancement of internal tools and methodologies
- Long-term proven professional experience of industry experience in relevant fields such as investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or growth equity, with proven deal track record and board-level exposure
- Deep understanding of and passion for sustainable innovation, energy transition, industry 4.0, and climate tech, supported by strong investment judgment and financial modelling expertise
- Demonstrated ownership mindset with proactive problem-solving approach, high performance standards, and ability to manage complex, ambiguous environments
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to engage effectively across corporate and investment stakeholders
- Strong organizational competence, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under changing requirements
- Full professional proficiency in English and motivation to contribute to the long-term development of a leading corporate venture capital platform
