A Snapshot of Your Day

The successful candidate will create and maintain routings to support stator operations, create and answer production orders, quickly process quality notifications to minimize production impact, create and maintain detailed spreadsheets of actual versus planned hours, cross functional interaction with lead people and planners on any material issues. Responsibilities may adapt as business needs change.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Drive continuous improvement by participating in stator planning meetings, completing assigned tasks, and identifying process improvements.
  • Develop and deliver technical reports, including planned hours vs actuals hours for the different product lines (BK, TLRI, HMPA, etc).
  • Closely work with other departments to perform cross campus operations and best practice sharing.
  • Collaborate with engineering to implement custom tools, jigs, fixtures, and tests into the routings.
  • Support process improvement qualifications by documenting changes, analyzing data, and verifying sample compliance with requirements.
  • Manage shop supplies to ensure appropriate inventory levels and eliminate obsolete items.

What You Bring

  • Education BS/BA in a related discipline or an associate’s degree with two or more years of relevant experience and 3 or more years of experience in large stator operations.
  • Technical Skills: SAP experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (heavy emphasis on Microsoft Excel), and experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with production planning principles and cost models; prior experience with document management and leading teams is a plus.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
