About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
As the IT Process Owner for IT Asset Management (ITAM), you will be responsible for the strategic oversight and continuous improvement of the ITAM process across the organization. This role ensures that all IT assets—including software, managed applications, and hardware—are effectively tracked, governed, and optimized throughout their lifecycle. Your work will align with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Design, implement, and maintain the IT Asset Management process, including associated policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Build and lead a network of asset management specialists to drive process adherence, foster continuous improvement, and support automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with ITSM platform owners (e.g., ServiceNow) and cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with platform capabilities and compliance with security standards.
- Define and monitor process KPIs to evaluate process effectiveness, lead structured root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
- Provide comprehensive performance reporting to senior leadership.
- Lead transformation initiatives and support organizational change management (OCM) efforts.
What You Bring
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT process management, with a focus on IT Asset or Configuration Management and a solid understanding of cybersecurity practices for asset protection.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, particularly in Asset, Change, and CMDB/CSDM modules.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.
- ITIL Foundation certification (v3 or higher); specialization in Service Transition or Service Asset & Configuration Management is a plus.
