A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Hydrogen Lead Technician at Siemens Energy, you will start your day by setting up the build team, allocating tasks, and delivering safety briefings. You will actively work hands-on to support production, ensuring that daily and weekly workload activities are planned and completed flawlessly. Your day will involve providing technical support, driving performance, and encouraging the team to achieve our ambitious goals. You will also log quality issues and work towards implementing corrective and preventative actions to maintain our world-class standards. By the end of the day, you will have successfully driven continuous improvement and manufacturing processes, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Actively work hands-on with the build team to support production and improve performance.
• Allocate tasks and deliver safety briefings at the start of each shift.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to the build team.
• Drive and monitor team performance, motivating members to achieve outstanding results.
• Plan daily and weekly workload activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure operations are completed and recorded to the accurate quality standard.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering environment.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualifications.
• Good communication, people management, and teamwork skills.
• Advanced competence in respect, flexibility, and motivation.
• Basic competence in collaboration, training, and quality management.
• Advanced competence in driving people excellence and proactive EHS management.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonisation. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalization of the fleet.
