A Snapshot of Your Day

As part of the Offshore Wind Power Controlling team, you act as a strategic Business Partner for Headcount and Cost Controlling across global offshore support functions. Your role goes beyond reporting: you ensure transparency on workforce-related cost drivers, strengthen planning and forecasting accuracy, and drive the standardization and digitalization of controlling processes in a complex, project-driven environment.You connect operational realities (projects, resources, allocations) with financial steering, enabling fact-based decisions and ensuring compliance with internal and transfer pricing requirements.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Act as Business Partner for Headcount and workforce-related cost steering across Offshore projects and functions. Drive transparency on headcount, capacity, and cost allocations, ensuring alignment between operational planning and financial reporting.
  • Lead the harmonization and optimization of Headcount and cost controlling processes across Offshore Service. 
  • Strengthen forecasting and budgeting processes by integrating bottom-up project inputs and resource planning assumptions 
  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines (e.g. transfer pricing, allocation logic, time registration) and improve auditability of cost flows 
  • Develop and enhance reporting solutions and dashboards (e.g. Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud), translating complex data into actionable insights. Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort in reporting and reconciliation processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Controlling, Commercial Project Management, HR, and Shared Services to ensure data consistency and a unified view on workforce and cost structures 

What You Bring

  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field. Several years of experience in Controlling, preferably in a project-driven or international environment. 
  • Strong understanding of Headcount Controlling, cost allocation, and financial steering mechanisms. 
  • Experience working with large datasets and translating them into clear insights.
  • Solid knowledge of tools such as Power BI, SAP, SAC, Alteryx or comparable systems. 
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach. 
  • Ability to challenge and improve existing processes while maintaining stakeholder alignment
