A Snapshot of Your Day  


In this dynamic role, you will be the Service Component Owner for Gas Turbine Blade and Vanes for the Service Fleet in the A-Region. As part of this role, you will lead a team that will provide 24/7 support for this fleet. This will include working through specific technical challenges like Blade and Vanes issues or troubleshooting, crucial for our fleet’s operational needs. You and your team will engage in Technical Issues (TIs) and Significant Field Issues (SFIs) as a component owner, providing vital technical risk assessments for Technical Limit of Authority (TLOA) decisions. You will also be responsible for strategic planning, driving service engineering innovation and enhancing efficiency through digital solutions. You will play a pivotal role in connecting various regions and competence hubs, fostering a unified service engineering team. Furthermore, as the Component Owner, you will be responsible for all communication with our customers. Every day, you contribute to supporting our customers by keeping the fleet running. 


How You’ll Make an Impact  


  • Lead a service engineering TBV-US (Turbine Blades, Vanes) team focusing on operational support of Large Gas Turbine Blades, Vanes, Ring Segments, Vane carriers and other assembled hardware in the turbine module of the Gas Turbine.  
  • Be the responsible service component owner for the A-Region Fleet. 
  • Drive comprehensive fleet feedback and technical risk assessments. 
  • Implement efficiency enhancements through advanced data and digital technologies. 
  • Act as a functional manager for engineers in regions and competence hubs and cultivate a service mindset that drives a culture of improvement and teamwork. 

What You Bring 


  • Master's degree or bachelor's in mechanical engineering, or related field, with substantial professional experience. 
  • 3-8 of leadership experience or project lead team experience in a service organization is preferred. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
  • Demonstrated expertise in gas turbine components preferred. 
  • Demonstrating a commitment to Siemens Energy's core behaviors, including a focus on the customer, decisively moving forward, being open and inclusive, and building strong partnerships. 
  • High motivation to challenge the status quo, take initiative, and drive positive change within the team and the broader organization. Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with global teams and the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% domestic and international, engaging with diverse teams and cultures.
