A Snapshot of Your Day

As Head of Operational Procurement Orlando, your day starts with short check-ins with Buyers and MRP Planners to align on priorities, urgent material needs, and supplier developments. You collaborate closely with production, planning, and logistics to ensure material availabiliy for upcoming builds and customer commitments. Throughout the day, you engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers to manage delivery risks, track performance KPIs, and drive mitigation actions. You also invest time in developing your team and contributing to continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives that strengthen operational excellence.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Buyers, MRP Planners, and warehouse staff, fostering an ownership-driven “One Team” culture
  • Ensure reliable material availability by executing contracts, following up on capacity expansion initiatives, optimizing logistics, and securing on-time delivery
  • Collaborate closely with production, logistics, and strategic procurement to align operational priorities and resolve supply constraints
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, supporting escalations and driving supplier performance improvement
  • Develop, monitor, and optimize operational procurement KPIs and processes in alignment with Central Procurement guidelines
  • Support and drive digitalization and automation initiatives across MRP and operational procurement processes

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in operational procurement
    • 5+ years of people management experience in a complex, operational environment
  • Additional Skills:
    • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
    • Solid knowledge of SAP, especially MM and MRP processes, and end-to-end procurement workflows
    • Proven track record of leading supply chain projects and implementing processes in a global organization

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers low‑emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low‑emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, including steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities are enabled through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
