A Snapshot of Your Day
The Head of Business Excellence & Transformation at SE Gas Services Blades & Vanes (BVT) will lead operational improvement and transformation initiatives that support the strategic goals of our manufacturing facility in Gibsonton. This role combines continuous improvement leadership with comprehensive change management, cultural transformation, and the development of strategic communications & training programs to drive adoption across the organization. The ideal candidate brings significant experience applying continuous improvement methodologies within an industrial or manufacturing environment, along with a strong record of delivering complex transformation initiatives. Success in this position requires strategic thinking, strong influencing skills, and the ability to navigate organizational change while building alignment across teams. This leadership opportunity will have a direct impact on the future direction of the operation and its long-term, sustainable growth.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Design and lead comprehensive change management strategies that support the successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational structures.
- Partner with and coach site leadership and project teams on effective change management principles, tools, and best practices.
- Drive cultural transformation initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and reinforce a mindset of continuous improvement across the organization.
- Serve as a catalyst for change by influencing stakeholders at all levels, building alignment, and overcoming resistance to transformation efforts.
- Develop and execute strategic communication plans that clearly convey the vision, progress, and business impact of key transformation initiatives.
- Create and deliver targeted training programs that build organizational capability in continuous improvement and change management methodologies.
- Translate complex operational changes and strategic objectives into clear, compelling messaging that drives employee understanding, engagement, and buy-in.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in business excellence, continuous improvement, or business transformation roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment, is required.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt and Change Management Professional (e.g., Prosci) certifications are a plus.
- Demonstrated experience managing experienced professionals and leading complex, cross-functional projects with proven results.
- Strong communication abilities are necessary, encompassing advising, storytelling, public speaking, and digital communications, along with a focus on employee engagement and executive presence.
- This position may require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
