As a Hardware Engineer (m/f/d) Embedded System Design, you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge embedded hardware and software systems. You will engage in exciting projects that focus on sensor applications, ensuring robust and reliable solutions that meet the demands of large-scale manufacturing and industrial environments. How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will design and develop embedded systems from concept to production, integrating hardware and software for sensor-based applications
- Create PCB layouts and schematics, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with relevant standards
- Develop, test, and debug embedded software for sensor systems, ensuring efficient operation in real-time environments
- Use MATLAB to simulate and validate system performance, supporting design decisions/optimization and select appropriate electronic components while managing lifecycle and obsolescence
- Integrate hardware and software components to deliver complete embedded solutions and innovate from first principles while adhering to industry best practices
- Develop systems that maintain performance under challenging conditions
What You Bring
- Proven experience in designing hardware for embedded systems, particularly for vibration and optical sensor applications
- High expertise in PCB design software (e.g., Altium, Eagle) for schematic capture and layout
- Comprehensive knowledge of sensor physics and advanced noise reduction strategies
- Experience in managing component lifecycle and engaging with suppliers
- Beneficial experience with standards relevant to the Power Energy sector and UAV systems
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail
