A Snapshot of Your Day 

As part of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energy from Siemens, the payroll operating model moving forward will be fully comprehensive, split between a professional HR BPO for zero to gross processing and managed payroll (gross to net) with industry leading payroll providers. We are looking for a Global Payroll Continuous Improvement Expert to play a key role in optimizing and improving the end-to-end payroll processes in a global scale, working alongside a global and diverse team of senior payroll leaders and specialists ensuring and maintaining fit-for-purpose processes, governing end-to-end delivery in a timely and accurate manner.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Play a key role in the global payroll transformation, streamlining our system landscape, operational model and reorganizing/verticalizing our payroll set-up
  • Map, design and improve payroll processes and procedures to streamline operations and identify opportunities for improvement and monitor new processes to ensure they works as intended 
  • Promote consistent processes across the globe and coordinate regional efforts for standardization 
  • Establish payroll processes that amplify the impact of our improvement projects
  • Act as a change agent, educating and influencing the team on project enhancements
  • Consolidate and coordinate improvement activities, ensuring that benefits are tracked, analyzed, reported and shared across the business
  • Develop business cases, lead continuous improvement efforts, and drive cultural change
  • Offer coaching, hands-on support, and mentoring for sustainable improvement and provide as well as analyze advanced payroll and time reports, along with identifying KPIs and measuring standard metrics
What You Bring
  • Long term experience in working in an international company / matrix organization, adept at handling high complexity
  • Good understanding of and ability to apply continuous improvement and quality management approaches
  • Demonstrated experience in Lean and Six Sigma application for CI.
  • Successful track record of driving operational and organizational improvements
  • Knowledge of processing payroll for international entities
  • Collaborative style, happy to interact with many stakeholders e.g., in HR Centers of Competence and HR in the Regions, IT department with potentially competing priorities
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team and thrive in a global environment, working flexibly where required 
  • Proficient English skills

In this role you will be working within the Human Resources function – People Systems and Services Payroll, a truly global and diverse team of specialists with an open mindset, responsible for ensuring Siemens Energy payroll is compliant, accurate, timely and fit-for-purpose, with a clear governance & risk management approach and working closely with our HR Services team to safeguard end-to-end delivery while promoting Siemens Energy digital transformation.
