Managing one of the largest mobility programs in the world and undergoing a significant HR transformation, Siemens Energy Global Mobility (GM) team is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled GM Operational Senior Tax Consultant to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a business at the forefront of Energy Transition. We are looking for a global mobility enthusiast who brings strong experience in mobility and tax compliance, with a robust understanding of international tax regulations and expatriate tax issues. This role will support managing the tax implications of our global mobility programs, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws, and working across global geographies to support our international workforce.


How You’ll Make an Impact 


  • Support the end-to-end global mobility operational tax compliance program across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with global service providers and internal stakeholders. 
  • Act as a trusted specialist for mobility tax matters, providing operational guidance on tax compliance obligations, and the administration of mobility-related tax processes.
  • Coordinate tax-related operational activities with relevant partner teams to ensure accurate data collection, timely reporting, process standardization, and compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Support the governance Tax team to monitor legislative and regulatory developments and implement required process updates to maintain compliance and effective operational tax process flows.
  • Deliver training sessions and operational guidance for HR teams and business stakeholders on global mobility tax processes, compliance requirements, assignment tax policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Liaise with external tax advisors, payroll providers, and tax authorities to manage compliance activities, resolve tax-related inquiries, support audits and reviews, and ensure the timely completion of all mobility tax obligations.



What You Bring

  • University degree in Economic Studies, Law or any relevant field. 
  • Professional experience in global mobility tax, expatriate tax compliance, or international tax, including global accounts 
  • Strong knowledge of international tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, proficiency in using various HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PP)
  • Strong English language proficiency and intercultural competence to interact effectively with global colleagues
