A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Global Sales Head for FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) in Gas Services, you will be responsible for defining and driving the global sales strategy for FPSO projects, working in close collaboration with regional sales and bid management teams. Providing a coordinated global customer approach during the various project development phases from early business development and through order entry, you will sustain and increase Siemens Energy’s market share in the FPSO segment for both power generation and gas-turbine driven compression applications.

In this role, you will be expected to liaise globally with the FPSO customers and EPCs for early business development, manage the respective relationships and develop and implement the project sales strategies to secure orders for gas turbines.

You will manage the senior customer management relationships and set the overall strategy for the FPSO market.


How You'll Make an Impact

  • Work closely with global sales teams within GS Sales to define and execute FPSO-specific sales strategies.
  • Coordinate global sales efforts to secure new gas turbine orders in the FPSO market.
  • Maintain continuous visibility of FPSO project opportunities and ensure that relevant internal stakeholders are aligned and engaged in line with the respective sales strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through consistent engagement, including periods without immediate bidding activity.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with other Siemens Energy Business Areas involved in FPSO projects.
  • Collaborate closely with proposal management and commercial sales leads, aligning sales strategy from bid development through negotiation and contract closing.
  • Define bid strategies and target pricing for individual projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, competitiveness, and risk management.
  • Support strategic decision-making through market analysis, opportunity qualification, and prioritization of FPSO prospects.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10 or more years of experience in the gas turbine industry within the Oil & Gas sector, with a proven sales track record.
  • Broad understanding of FPSO systems and processes, particularly power generation.
  • Strong global network with key FPSO customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on identifying and developing business opportunities.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Travel up to 40%
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
