A Snapshot of Your Day:
As the Generator Team Lead, you will target experienced professionals in the field of electrical engineering and project management, who are passionate about leading impactful projects in generator commissioning and maintenance. You will oversee critical field service activities that ensure the safe and efficient operation of generator systems, directly contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of delivering high-quality technical services while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Expect to work in a collaborative environment that emphasizes team development, knowledge sharing, and a commitment to excellence, all while making a significant impact on our clients and partners in Saudi Arabia.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Lead end-to-end execution of generator field service activities, ensuring adherence to Siemens Energy standards.
- Supervise and develop a high-performing team of field engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Manage commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting projects, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing rework.
- Act as the technical interface with customers during outages and commissioning projects, enhancing client relationships.
- Drive a Zero Harm culture, ensuring compliance with EHS and permit-to-work systems.
- Identify additional work opportunities during site activities to support business growth and sustainability.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in generator commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Technical expertise in electrical measurements, diagnostics, and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and resources efficiently.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to quality standards in field operations.
About the Team:
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet
